About Us

Social Strategist Deborah O’Connor helps attorneys, business executives and other
professionals achieve their goals by changing the way they present themselves to give
them the competitive edge.

Deborah enables professionals to recognize and overcome bad habits that are
sabotaging their career by polishing their presentation and positioning them for greater advancement. Here’s more about Deborah.

Her first lessons in social strategy began at home. Courtesy and a polished appearance were fostered and expected in her family. With her mother’s mentoring, she became a model of graciousness for her friends.

As a teen Deborah was often asked for advice on personal appearance and behavior from friends who wanted to shine during presentations, public speeches and first dates.

“Helping others succeed has always been a passion of mine,” Deborah says. “Often what holds someone back are a few bad habits, sometimes as simple as wearing clothes that don’t compliment your body type or not observing proper etiquette.”

As a student Deborah naturally gravitated to subjects that would enhance her ability to coach others in social strategy. She chose to earn a bachelor’s degree in sociology and an MBA in marketing. Because of her facility for communicating she soon learned Spanish and French.

As a wife and mother in the early 1990’s, Deborah became a community leader in Atlanta, regularly volunteering her time to charitable efforts. Most notably she served as the chairman of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s SCOTS Board. Under her mentoring volunteers developed a highly tuned social strategy enabling the team to raise $400,000 for the hospital.

Soon Deborah created her own company to provide social strategy, image and etiquette consulting, steering Fortune 500 executives and leading attorneys toward greater success. During her storied career Deborah has managed the affairs of high-profile individuals, including the wife of a Los Angeles-based billionaire, and recently served as the executive director of operations for a large estate.

Deborah has advised individuals from and organizations including UAB, Samford University, Christian & Small, LLP, Attorneys At Law, Gus Mayer, Forensic Strategic Solutions, PC, Alacare Home Health & Hospice, Morgan Keegan, Ameriprise Financial Services, Sirote & Permutt, PC, Attorneys At Law, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Belk.
